Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the information. I will ensure that the speakers are properly connected and hopefully this should resolve the issue.

My POD is 176T.

Thanks,

I read this in another post, but can't find it at the moment...... Check the wires going to the speakers... They should both match each other... + to + and - to - (on both speakers) . On mine, one speaker was + to + and the other was + to -. Speakers still worked, just had a bad whine to them. Adjusted one, and sound improved.

Sounds good.

Does anyone knows as to why the speakers in the pod makes the annoying sound (not sure how to describe it) when the volume is turned up a little bit?

The sound goes away when the volume is turned down quite low.

Glad you got it worked out. I'll keep that in th "back pocket" if I hear of that type of issue again.

Your guess is good is mine. The issue is fixed after i removed the front panel and removed the transit screw.

Makes me wonder why the transit screw was there at all.  This thing is designed to handle the bumps and jolts while it is installed in a camper - with no screw.  So why put one in there for shipping?

I talked to the tech support of the player itself and after going through several troubleshooting steps it looks like Forest River forgot to unscrew the "transit screw" that was placed on the player. I will now have to take the player out and take care of this myself.
I'm hoping that this will fix the issue. Will keep you guys posted here.

I'll look into calling the DVD/combo manufacture directly to see if they can assist. Thanks.
