We recently got a hand crank ice shaver to make shaved-ice desserts such as snow cones and slushies.  Unlike ice cream making bowls that don't fit in the pod freezer, premade ice pucks can all fit in a ziplock bag in the freezer Big smile  Trying to make a new ice-puck will take at least a day, so premade pucks are the secret to good shaved ice while podding. Wink

For large amounts of shaved ice or shaved ice made from store bought ice cubes, we'd recommend an electric ice shaver and not a manual one.  If shaved ice isn't as important as crushed ice, then a good blender or electric ice crusher will suffice.

Stay cool.
