We're in a state park near Keystone Heights, FL, which is in the path of Debby (if it goes to Jacksonville, one of many paths).   We had 16 straight hours of hard rain overnight.  A few small tree branches fell on the slide-out's roof and sounded like whole limbs when they hit!  Nothing serious.  The roof held up and there's no leaks from it or the windows.  We still have our pod dome up and it, too, is fine.  Things may change when the storm starts to  move this way and the wind picks up, but we're kind of deep in the woods and most of the wind is blocked.  We hate to take the dome down because right now it's our only escape from the pod.   Isn't camping fun?

Pack it up and head west, we have plenty on sunshine and dry weather in the midwest. Even the humidity should not bother you Floridians.   Goose
PS. I would watch the r-dome in the wind, it can bend that metal shock cord pretty easily.

Goose is right, We were at a car show in Williams Az and a major storm came in, I had both front corners of the R Dome tethered and the wind bent the shock pole and the top right pole, but it never leaked or blew down. Luckily I was able to straighten out the poles! Ouch

I just watched the 10:00 news and the weather report showed this mass of rain across the top of Florida that they said could take a couple of days to move out and leave up to 20 inches of rain. Best to remove the wheels on the trailer and put on the pontoons like they have on seaplanes.   Goose

We'll take some of that rain in Nevada.

Hey, Goose.  Adding the pontoons sounds like a good idea.  More like a Houseboat, doncha think?

Here in Saint Augustine, depending on where you live, we got between 4" and 8" so far.  They expect to get 20" more before this thing is over.  The ducks and frogs are happy!
