Our pod is lid only by LED lights inside and out. I bought the lights from- ledlightscanada.com
1-800-677-2698, they are pricey but have a 2 year warranty. The guys name is Harvy, I asked Harvy about the high price. He told me that he knows that the bulbs are a lot less on the internet but, the bulbs on the internet are 12 volt, his bulbs have a range from 10 -15 volts. My fully charged batteries read 14,5 volts.

for the double bulb fixtures, are you recommending a flat LED replacement (looks like a tennis raquet) or a 4 sided 360deg replacement (looks like an old ladies curler)?
Seems the flat ones would make more sense, but do they put out enough light for the seemingly larger energy consumption than the 4 sided ones. flat ones $10 for 10pcs Color : Warm white Base: T10/921/194 LED Qty : 24 SMD LEDs Life Time : About 50,000 hours Input Voltage : 12V DC Power: 0.9W Color temperature: 3000K - 3300K Luminous flux: 100LM 4 sided ones $9.39 for 10pcs Bright white LED light
Low power consumption, long service life Great for many other applications around the car 360°viewing from LEDs positioned around the outside and top of the bulb Type: T10 Each bulb has 12 SMD LEDs Standard 12V Light color: white Life: 60,000 hours Power: 0.3W Color temperature: 5500K Package included 10 X T10 12-LED Bulbs |

We just bought a bunch of LEDs off ebay from sellers that claim to be Hong Kong based. 2 of the 3 shipments came from Shenzhen and only one from Hong Kong. They all looked the same and seem to put out a decent amount of light but of course nothing quite like the 921s. Our 'pod was built in early 2009, so we have a single dome light enclosure with 2 sockets that point together. Only the 24-led bulbs could fit in there together. The 36-led bulbs were definitely brighter but I couldn't find any listings for "warm white". The 36-led bulbs we had bought, we use in the bathroom and in the one above the kitchen area as these are the only fixtures with single sockets (other than the bunks of course).
Both the 24-led & the 36-led "bulbs" were much brighter than the expensive ones bought at Camping world.

Thanks Bill, looks like it is just trial and error. I was kind of hoping that someone would have a really hot tip. Dave

I've been trying to buy LED's from a China EBay retailer. This forum recommended a 24 LED Panel (4x6) T10 with wedge connector - 2 per light fixture. Most of what I see on EBay does NOT use the 0-6000K color rating for LED's. Normal home incandescent lights can be replaced by a 'Warm' 2700K LED. The stuff on EBay uses the term 'warm' but I bought 2 'warm' 12 chip LED wedge bulbs and they were so dim, I use them for night lites. Above 2700K the LED's start to get 'white'.
I'm hoping someone with more experience with the 24 LED Panels can add / correct to what I've stated or at least help us manage our expectations for purchasing. Thanks.

I have just 3 questions. Which LED lights are closest to the ones that come in the pod relative to color and brightness?Where do you get them? How much are they? Thanks

Four to post about it, three to discuss it over a nice fire (with beer), two to demolish their light fixtures as they attempt to remove the bulb, and one woman to do it in under 2 minutes without any problems at all.
Is that the right answer?
