Ok, here is the deal, this Monday 3 inch risers on the RP-172, De Winterized today, pulled the LP tank and had it checked/charged up. added 2% bleach solution to the fresh water tank, installed the new 72 inch black water storage tube with the 15 foot black water drain hose. ran the water heater on gas, cycled the gas furnace, ran the stove, tried the new Oxygenics shower head (its great, remove the factory flow restricter) torque wheels, only thing left is to double check wheel torque and tire pressures. Now we are ready to Roll Out with the Pod.

Thanks techntrek, every time I get my hopes up this crazy Southern Indiana Weather, we went from 75 to 62, and about 10 minutes ago got pea sized hail hammering every thing. The deck was white, but I know its getting close to head out.

Good deal.  We took ours out a couple weekends ago to a local campground.  Everything worked as it should have.  Since then, we've purchased a memory foam topper, but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Ouch another tip, it was nice and cool this morning, so I am going to correct tire pressurs on the spare, when I pulled the cover back to take the valve stem cap off POW!!, a wasp was building a nest in the rim of the spare and stung the back of my right thumb. Be careful under fenders, spare tire cover, under the tounge, they have built nests where the ball goes up into the tongue. I took the covers off of the left side of the pod where the refridge and water heater are to inspect. I also put a piece of silver duct tape with a bright yellow piece of yellow plastic rope over the furnace openings, the bright yellow rope is a visual warning during walk around, (remove before flight) the openings on the furnace are very large and could house a pretty good sized wasp nest, if the vent can't breathe you could get carbon monoxide in the Pod, may sure batteries are fresh in detectors.

Wow!  I'm about 2 weeks behind you.

Where did you get the 72 inch black tube?  I've been think about a longer black water hose too and the small tube I have now needs replacement.

Ouch!
Thanks for the reminder about the furnace openings. We got dumped on during the last couple of days so I guess it will be a while before our first trip out. Right now it looks more like Christmas than Christmas did!Cry

Bill, got the hose and connectors at camping world, was on sale, I read the end of the factory pod and googgled the www name, they had a 1 800 number, called them up and I think I paid 19 dollars for the tube, heck you could not buy the parts for that, I mounted mine about 1 inch behind front stabilizers, watch out for gas lines and wires.
