I've taken my spare off and replaced the hitch with a cross camper stabilizer with a 2" receiver in order to carry a scooter.  The spare will still fit between the scooter and the camper.  You can probably do the same with a bike carrier.  Be sure to balance the weight on the front of the camper, so it's not too light.  I'm considering adding an extra LP bottle. pat

Welcome. The rear of the pod isnt rated for more than the weight of two bikes, confirmed by someone here recently.

We have just done the first 400 miles, we put the spare on roof of our car (Hyundai Santa Fe), the put the 2 bikes on a bike rack that goes into the reciever on the back of the Pod... PERFECT!!!!!!!!

I don't think that there is a commercial bike rack-extender hitch that could handle the Pod tongue weight and/or pod tow weight. I have seen them on tow vehicles towing light weight trailers.
But I doubt that they can handle a Pod.  If you buy one, make sure that you get written confirmation that the rack-extender can handle the Pod.  You will probably have to have it for the follow-up legal proceedings.
