Yes - After months and months of looking at small campers, I did my homework and the 177 fit me the best.  I got a wonderful deal down in Corpus Christi, Tx (Love the dealer) with a loaded r-pod.  Axel risers, Exterior Luxury, Interior Luxury and Gel-coat on the outside.  What a beauty.  I've cleaned it up (wood shavings and floor), packed it full of stuff and I'm anxiously awaiting to go camping.

The travel time to pick it up at the dealer was 5 hours down there and 5+ hours back - same day... So, my wife and 3 boys stayed back, but my two good friends went with me.  Galliano and Tony were impressed with the quality of the r-pod in comparison to (lesser expensive) brands on the lot.  In fact, my friend, Tony and his family are now purchasing a r-pod 176 because the bunks suit them better.  An adventure awaits!

Here is a picture of Tony (left), me in the middle, and Galliano (right) as we are about to drive away.

Welcome!  Feel free to post a review of your dealer in the review section.

I played around with your post a little to keep the text from falling off the right side of the screen - somehow the text and picture were inside some kind of frame (?) which messed with the formatting.  So I moved it all outside of the frame and it looks better now.

Welcome.  I know you will enjoy your 177 as much as we do ours.  And you can start sooner in the year and go later that we can.  Kinda makes me want to move south again...

Begbie, welcome to a great bunch of guys and gals and podding in general, You got a nice one, I caught the comment about a non camping wife
My wife Donna used to be the same, she said her idea of camping was a
Holiday Inn with a Holidome, I made her a deal, if she would try it once and did not like it I would not ask her again. Our son and I used to camp/fish/hunt/ hunt mushrooms and tent camp, and then camped in a chevy astro with the seats removed. I got her to go to Hoosier National forest, 3500 acres of pure heavin with walking trails, lakes, beach, she flipped out. We are now the proud owner of a 2011 RP-172, she loves it and cant wait until winter is over, maybe you can get her to go once, cook her up a good meal, she has her own bathroom and privacy, she may get hooked, keep your fingers crossed. welcome to a great forum.

Thanks DSmith - I think you are right and she may come around.  I see her poking around and saw her try out the bathroom in there... Smile  She didn't say anything negative... and said, ".. huh, that's not too bad..."
