I just saw your post from feb, sorry I missed it, Hoosier Nat F is great, there is the north and south face, some have more electric sites than others, then there is tipsaw, it has a sand beach, swim area and play areas for kids, Donna and I have used north and south face both, they recently put in new showers/bath rooms, one thing I like is the showers are kinda really big, so both of us can go in at the same time, lock the door, shower up, change clothes, dry hair etc. the camp sights are far enough apart that sometimes you dont see anyone else, 60 to 80 ft pines, shady, cool, really nice walking trails, 15 minutes to Patoka lake, 30 minutes to French Lick (Iam not a big gambler but it has been restored and is beautiful) near Jasper Ind and german cusiene, and a winery near by wienzinwald or something like that, good wine. I think Hoosier Nat Forest is the best kept secret, also at age 62 I got the senior pass thingy for about 20 bucks you can get in the federal sites for 1/2 price. happy poddin

Without getting into the whole "to tall for my hair" discusion..

Which campgrounds in H.N.F. have you used? We are an hour south of there, and have been thinking about going up there..

Keith, in case you did not know, you are 2 posts away from being a senior member, that means you will have to start dying your hair, I wish I had some hair on top to dye.
