I can trace them next weekend, it has two per fender, and they work with the head lights

Can you trace where the wires run to?

mine is 2011 and have lights in fenders, all they did was wire them from underneath it, then drilled a small whole on the fender to pass the wires, mounted the lights and wrapped the wires in that plastic covers. if you need pictures let me know.

It bugs me that FR hasn't proceded to correct the problem of rear and fender lites...they already agreed that they are in violation of Canadian safety standards which are identical to the US standards. The Canadian recall has been ongoing for many months. I guess there hasn't been any lawsuits filed in the US to help kick start the US recall.
Why should we Pod owners be forced to take the time and money to correct FR's manufacturing error?

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll get some reflective tape and find a source for wired-in lights.

Thanks dsmiths, that sounds like a really good idea.

I went a liitle crazy with the reflective tape even though we have lights on the fenders. It is on the steps, the tongue, the pointy corners of the slide out, the edges of the door, and numerous other spots I can't remember anymore. I was worried about people bumping into things in the dark. It probably looks a little strange as we are driving but at least they can see us. B

It wouldn't be too difficult to add lights to the fenders, you can run the wires underneath to the front of the Pod and tap into the wiring there.
