Finished my last major mod, got rid of ugly curtain and ugly blinds. Side windows I put in new valances and accordion blinds. Back window put in a valance across the back wall and installed 10" LED striplights on either side of accordion blind for indirect lighting. Due to my wife's poor night vision we use them as night lights.

Love the additional enclosures in the triangular area above the windows.  I was happy to just get a decent-looking shelf in that area.  Yours is much better.
