Hey folks...took delivery of my R-Pod 172 last weekend. Everyone seems to have a name so mine is called X-Pod. Since my Nissan Xterra will be my TV and the main reason I got it is so we can winter camp and snowboard more....snowboarding being an X Game or EXtreme sport as the youngns call it. So hello and i'll be posting very soon for some helpful coldweather hints in the appropriate topic area.

Congrats, My wife and I bought a 2011 172 picked it up 10-13, have had it out once and plan on at least 1 maybe 2 more times out before winterizing it, so far we are thrilled with the intelligent use of space. have fun.

Welcome to the forum and our world of podding!

Although not extreme, look for our tale of the October Nor'easter and camping in the snow/rain!

Glad to have you aboard, looking forward to hearing and reading about some winter camping trips this season.  While a lot of us are winterized and waiting for spring we can camp through your stories Xpod!

Will do, we are planning a trip over thanksgiving week. My host son (Exchange student from Korea) and I will be leaving from Southern Indiana, visting University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota (MinnySoda) then on to Wild Mountain and Trollhaugen. My mom is having Thanksgiving the Saturday before we leave so we'll have the fridge full of leftover Turkey and pumkin pie.Thumbs Up
