My overall comfort in that low temp was a pleasant surprise!

We've got site C33! For Friday and Saturday.
Gonna give Free Spirit some company this weekend as we use it for a spare bedroom so we can have Chris's family visit. I've been keeping her above freezing with a small heater set low, so we are ready to travel!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, everyone!

Ok, I'm all-in on site C35!  Bringing lots of firewood and my special tomato juice which tastes surprisingly like a bloody mary... but couldn't possibly be a bloody mary since they don't allow alcohol at PA state parks.  Wink

Definitely cold last night, got down to 7 F at my house overnight.  Would have been a good test of our Pods if we were camping!  Historically the 3rd week of January is the coldest week of the year, watch it warm up into the 50's for this trip.  Shocked

Got down to 15 F here in central Jersey...moderating influence of the ocean I guess :). The pod was kept at <42F with a little electric heater, but I can't tell if the under sink pipes were frozen or not...yet.
I'll wager on 50+ next weekend, too

Add some snow in the mix and it could get real fun. Reading got hit yesterday morning with a freak snow squal that really messed up rush hour in the morning the road crew were not ready at all for any of it. And it was a very small band but enough to cause gridlock. Looking forward to next weekend.

Considering it's going to be cold and the R-Pods are too small to entertain more than a couple of people, what facilities does the campground have for a group gathering?  For example, if 20-people show up, what's available for everyone to hang-out together if they wanted to?
