I remember, when I had a pop up camper, how warm the bunk ends became from sun.
Made the A/C work harder, with little result.

A product I tried, sort of a reflective quilt- like a space blanket, made a tremendous difference.
Allowed the A/C to make our Jayco 1406 pop up bearable, even comfortable, on the hottest
days. Also helps keep tree sap and bird dropping off the tent material.

They're called 'PopUp Gizmos' http://www.popupgizmos.com and come
in many sizes.

Give them a look.

DISCLAIMER: I have no relationship w/ the vendor other than as a satisfied customer.
