Sorry Techntrek...I agree with PaddyMorris.  If memory serves, this was what was on my 2010 RP173.
Definately not a 2''.

It's an 1 1/4" receiver at the back of the pod, and if you use the FR bike rack you can't mount the spare tire there. It's an either/or situation.

PaddyMorris:  I built the bike.  Its a 2004 Dyno Roadster, a stretched cruiser.  Its 7' 10" long.  It now has saddle bags and in the process of putting an unused 1952 Monark fork on her.  It gets between 100 and 150MPG!

Well I guess my next question would be    ...can the spare tire handle one of those bike racks that fit over the assembly? I'm aware of the probs with extra weight in the rear but that sort of arrangement wouldn' really stick out that far (talking 2 bikes maximum)
