I really like that, a place to carry stuff underneath or on top as well as the tent.  Although I could do the same with an open-top utility trailer, putting a tent on the empty bed after unloading it.

They had one of those off-road trailers in a Top Gear episode. The guys were going through Death Valley and one had a tear drop, another had a pop up and the third had one of those off-road trailers. The off-road trailer was the only one that survived and didn't get beat apart by the trails. I do wonder if they weigh more because of their ruggedness?

Itty bitty.  I bet the mpgs towing that thing are way better than a pod.  Big smile

What's wrong with those guys.  I hope when they finally got to their destination it was worth it.  Was certainly interesting watching.  I wonder if all their dishes survived?  Safe Travels.

In looking at the picture, 2 things come to mind:
1. What the hell do they need dual propane tanks for and
2. If Dutchmen really makes that thing, I think if I were them, I'd leave the "Dutchmen" decals off.

It kind of looks as though it was made from parts scavenged from vehicles that were, at one time, actual working campers.  But, to each his own......Wacko

If it is a working camper I don't know why it would even need one tank!
