while not a rpod owner i really like the looks of the hrh. but i question the need for one. maybe some will find it usefull. but i would think, just a few of the hardest. i would think, what is your tv ?. if its a mini van, or something without 4 wheel drive with some ooomp. where could you take it? just some thoughts. but i really like the looks of them. but like ky mooses and some others have said. you could modify one for alot less i would think.

From page one of this thread: "Only the manufacturing plant in Oregon makes the HRE, the one in Indiana does not."

Does anyone know if the HREs are manufactured at the Dallas, OR facility? I used to work across the street from the plant at the Weyerhauser lumber mill there.

Brother in law works at local Steel cutting provider, was thinking that was a favor he could swing for me. That'd be the only thing I'd know to think of cutting it with. |

Only catch is if you need it a certain length, you need the right equipment to cut it.

That's what I'm considering doing. Just stopping at Lowe's buying a sheet of the plating and then a few tubes of liquid nails and just plastering it on.

One can buy plastic diamond plate material at home centers and other places. It could be cemented on with silicone or a contact adhesive. You probably could find a wall paper hanger or some one with similar experience to put it on.

Only the manufacturing plant in Oregon makes the HRE, the one in Indiana does not. Most likely yours came from the one in Indiana Damour. |
