My family aquired a 172 about two weeks ago and we have already enjoyed one great trip.  Thanks to this forum and the friendly owners for being here.  I loved the Pod design, but have never owned a trailer of any sort before.  Having the chance to look over the old posts here was a great resource in making our decision.

I don't forsee any modifications in our immediate future since the H.M.S. TuPod has a great layout for our small family, but if we encounter anything that might be of use to share, we'll be sure to do so.

Hope everyone gets out to do some camping this weekend!

Welcome. Yep, the Pod comes camp ready right out of the box for sure but you gotta stick up a Command hook or two just to make it your own ya know. Enjoy!

I agree that this forum is very helpful. I didn't find this site until our Rpod was in the driveway but I have followed a number of suggestion that makes our Tri-pod more comfortable. Changed out the table legs for a pedestal, cut down the hatch cover under the left seat so you could open it with out removing the back seat cushion, use a cane to hold up the lower bunk bed when getting stored items, purchased an awning and a couple of other excellent ideas that I found here. Welcome to the poders world. Clark

Welcome and I too agree the form is one of the great advantages of owning a Rpod, especially for campers like us who do not get to camp that often.Cry   We have enjoyed following others camping adventures.   David and Danette
