I'm curious... for weekend camping, how may hours do you typically travel (one way)? Make sure to include the time you sit in rushhour traffic

For us, its usually 1.5-2 hours to get to the campsite. It can be a bit longer if we're going through Toronto and traffic is bad.

We have so many Georgia state parks and United Corps of Engineers campgrounds close by, I don't have to go too far. Most places are no more than a half hour away, and the rest are hardly more than 1 1/2 hours.

More than one, less than three. Alberta abounds with good campgrounds.

For weekend camping we like to stay around 2 hours or just over.
Most times we'll go 4 or 5 days though and then will stretch our drive between 3 and 4 hours and be able to hit most Ky parks.

I picked the last option because in September, I plan on bringing the Pod down to VA to camp this time. Twice a year, I meet up with a bunch of guys in VA for camping for the weekend. Traditionally, I've slept in a tent... but no longer. Now I sleep in style. Oh, and it usually takes me about 4.5 hours to get there without trailering. It may take me about 5.5 hours trailering with the Pod.

So far, all of my planned trips will be for dry camping, or primitive camping. Strange how that works out. Two things I recommend highly if you do this form of camping with the Pod is a small genny and a 6 gallon jug of water. I know I'm not supposed to, but if my wash water gets full, I plan on emptying it into the woods halfway through the camping trip. I've already emptied my wash water tank into my backyard woods and it didn't smell or cause any problems. I used to have a shower tent and the wash water from that emptied into the woods while camping, so I can't see there being a problem with this wash water.

Most of my "regular" spots are right at 1 1/2 hours. There are a couple that I go to that are just under 1 hour and the North and South end of the State is 2 or more hours.
I usually take Friday off from work and, living out of the city, traffic is not an issue. I have gobs of time off accumulated anyway and taking Friday off allows me time to get a few chores/errands done and make an unhurried drive to the park for a 2 o'clock check in.

I took the first choice, all weekend trips are less than 1 1/2 hours. One or two week-long trips, we'll go farther.

Had to take the last option as we stay in Arizona for a month. This year will be some what longer.
