I think I may hold off on the lights on the fender for a bit.  I hope that the US will also step in and do something.  I took my Trailer in for State Inspection to a new place at the begin of the month and they asked about lights on the fenders.  They were not happy they were not there but passed it this year as it already had a sticker on it.  They were going to do some checking and get back to me if they found out anything else.  In reading the Canada sheet it was showing only 713 units affected.  But that is over 3 years.

I emailed Forest River yesterday for more information.  I'd rather have something from the manufacturer in hand when I head to my dealer.

I see that the date on the recall is December 30, 2010.  I haven't received a recall notice.  How about the other Canadians: has anyone seen a recall notice yet?

Nope! Even the Good Sam Club doesn't seem to know, but they don't seem to monitor Canadian transport recalls. I think that our pod has the lights on the recall though. But I'm going to be making sure today anyhow.

I've heard nothing from my dealer here in Calgary.  Upon seeing this posted last night, I immediately requested an appointment online with them and provided the link to the recall notice.  I also checked their recall notices posted on their website but there was nothing about the R-Pods. 
I'll post what they respond with and what actions are carried out with regards to the recall.

Contacted my dealer ,Campkins, and they know nothing about it. They said they would find out what is going on and get back to me. I attached the Canada Transport Link for them. Will pass on any information when my dealer gets back to me.

My dealer responded to my online appointment request and my Pod is going in on the 31st for the recall work and, with any luck, dewinterization.
