I still remember when the Apache camper plant went out of business decades ago in my hometown. Lots of people lost their jobs, but back then they were easier to replace ...

I believe someone else will buy up the license and floorplans and continue the line.  Personally this really sucks, not that I'm that attached to the brand name, but because I still haven't tried very hard to sell our popup and now it may be almost impossible!  At the very least I won't get what I could have before.

My first popup was an Apache Smile
Was that decades ago???? Cry

I heard Thor was interested in buying a year ago, but could not reach an agreement with Fleetwood to sell the rights to the name, design plans, etc.  (price, labor agreements, and/or?).  My "Coleman" TT is a Thor product, built in their Dutchmen division.  It will be interesting to see what happens.  If purchased, I hope whoever buys doesn't ruin the product.  I always thought Coleman was the best popup, by far.

I've got a little bit of cash sitting in my pocket for that popup  Clap  (And I do mean a little) Can hoop into the truck and run down for it. (Wife rolling her eyes at me right now as we have a second camper sitting in the driveway I came home with over the weekend)

Sure hate to see that brand go
