+1  Can't imagine replacing the valve with the toilet mounted to the floor. Take that sucker out, replace the valve, give  the toilet a good cleaning and re-install. Then decide what you'll do with the rest of the day because you just spent less than 30 minutes doing all that.

I havent done mine yet; but just to confirm.......toilet held on by the two bolts (1 on each side).  Just lift off like a "regular" toilet; correct?  I assume the gasket (or whatever is under there) does not need to be relaced; correct?  Just want to be sure.  Thanks for the help.  Jon

Jon, When I replaced the toilet it was already 6 years old, and it seems the replacement gasket was around $8, so it got replaced.  Any RV store would carry it.  Pretty easy to tell if the seal is good or not once you pull the toilet off, make sure when doing this you inhale deeplyLOL

Pertaining to your other questions, you are correct as there are two bolts to remove and simply lift off like a regular toilet.  Quite easy as being plastic doesn't require much effort to remove.

When you replace the toilet, be careful not to over torque the 2 flange bolts or you can end up damaging the plastic flange.  Dometic gives a torque value in inch pounds in the installation instructions that you can probably find online.

Mine stayed on the base, either way it will remove off the base or toilet quite easily.

The flange is held to the floor with wood screws.  If you want to take it off, you have to remove them.
