The only way to be certain is to pressurize your line and see where the leak is, should be apparent with your commode removed.

The flange is held to the floor with wood screws. If you want to take it off, you have to remove them.

Mine stayed on the base, either way it will remove off the base or toilet quite easily. |

I know Im a pain in the #%%! When I pull the toilet off, will the flange stay on the base or the toilet......or could it go either waY? jon

When you replace the toilet, be careful not to over torque the 2 flange bolts or you can end up damaging the plastic flange. Dometic gives a torque value in inch pounds in the installation instructions that you can probably find online.
