We like the dome more than an awning since it can be zipped up on all sides for privacy or bug protection. Adds another room to the Pod.

Darn. I thought that it might be a true awning and wanted to see how it was made. I have an idea on how to make one that I hope would be able to stay retracted to the side of the POD as you drive but I have to wait until spring to go to work on it. The dome is OK but would really like an awning. Goose

Was out surfing e-bay and spotted a r-pod awning for cheap. If you do not have one and wanted one here is a cheap way to get it.
