Note: this is NOT my listing

Was out surfing e-bay and spotted a r-pod awning for cheap.  If you do not have one and wanted one here is a cheap way to get it.

Darn. I thought that it might be a true awning and wanted to see how it was made. I have an idea on how to make one that I hope would be able to stay retracted to the side of the POD as you drive but I have to wait until spring to go to work on it. The dome is OK but would really like an awning.        Goose  Smile

We like the dome more than an awning since it can be zipped up on all sides for privacy or bug protection.  Adds another room to the Pod.

Good buy!  I like mine also and for the same reasons.

Welcome, Rocktub.  I suggest you start a new thread so your request is in the thread title.  Might get a little more attention.

We love our awning. All the reasons mentioned….privacy, adds a whole room, keeps bugs out, wind, cold, and dew!

Anyone looking for a simple awning for their pod, check out the Serro Scotty forum, awning. I found Marti's Awnings of California on that site and purchased a solid color with scallops but no fringe, 8x8. LOVE it! Great service and super well made. Her phone contact is 1-530-891-5120 or Marti Domyanic@domy@sbcglobal.net.
She has had some of her awnings on ebay, but I can't find any now. We are very, very happy with ours and would recommend her company to anyone wanting a simple clean lined rope and pole awning. Jan

Do you have pics with the awning up/out that you can post?

I believe what I have is similar to the rope and pole awning Sistahs described.  And I posted pics, too.
