Finally got to do some camping this year, only our second time out since purchasing in May!
Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there. We had to pick the weekend that would end a 36 day no rain streak.Censored With those wonderful Texas clays that stick to your shoes and everything else like glue. You go for a walk and bring half the path back with you. All in all it was a fun time.Big smile We'll just have to be a little more selective when we decide on a schedule next time.

The kids even got to do some fishing off the docks. It was probably their second time, first with me. Their Papa has taken them before. They had a lot of fun, even though the only thing we caught was rocks on the bottom.

What great photos - love the one of the kids fishing!! At first I thought all those kids were from just your r-pod and I was in awe!! Better there were two trailers, especially when raining!  Looks like they enjoyed themselves.

Still better to camp in the rain than work on a sunny day (unless you work outside... and depending on what you do for work).  Glad to see you were able to get one more trip in!

Thanks for the post and pictures!  IMHO all camping is good, it's just a matter of how good.  Smile

Get one more in? We've just started! It's miserable to camp here in the summer, you just spend all your time inside in the AC. Fall is the season in these parts.

No, luckily only half of them are mine. We had friends who camped nearby and we shared the cooking responsibilities.Tongue

This is the time to camp here in S Texas we spent Thanksgiving weekend at a great little park I.B. Magee Beach Park in Port Aransas.  Outside of the front that dropped the temp 15-20 degrees Thurs night and the cool but sunny Friday we had a great time.

I love your pictures!!  How fun, I wish we could be camping even if it was raining.  Snowed here today.  :(
