Purchased a 174 back in July but could not use it to now. The last two weekends were great. The quiet campgrounds and the fall colours made for perfect trips. A few problems to work out but our dealer in Whitby will set things right.

Welcome to podding. Bought ours in April but could not get a trip in until two weeks ago. Worth the wait! It is finally cool enough to hit the road. Happy camping.

Welcome!  What issues have you found?

Wow, what is it with everyone taking so long to get a first trip in?  We couldn't wait a day - drove right to a campground.  Thumbs Up

Hi techntrek
I found the door frame was not sealed right at the bottom front. I could see daylight through it. It'll just be caulked but it's a QA issue that will be documented. The other is with the dome, one grommet is positioned wrong and one of the awning straps was not sewn on. All real minor. Just really like the r-pod.

Welcome aboard!  I bought my RP171 at Campkin's last August and have been very happy with the service department.  You should have no problem having your issues addressed.

The r-dome pegs are installed at the dealership.  Strangely, I also had one peg out of place (rear - top)...

Just purchased a 177, picking it up in the morning.  We are so excited!  Now all we have to do is figure out where we want to go!!!Wink  We live in the Atlanta area.  Anyone have suggestions for a quick weekend trip for first time out??

our first camping experience will be in our back yard as a test run.  Kind of apprehensive about the
r-dome from what I have read could be a real bear.
Happy Trails!
