It is poorly managed. A few of us over the years have tried to make contact with owner so someone would be there regularly. They seem to have no interest in such an idea. I have a huge thread over there I sure wish was here. |

I hope this isn't a no-no but after hearing about "the site that must not be named" I checked it out and "tried" to join, however I never got the welcome email from the admin over there so I sit in limbo.
No other reason than to meet more podders and hear more stories, see more mods. But I guess they don't want new members. |

Worth a discussion. Maybe start a new thread to get everyone's input?

In reading through this thread, there are a couple comments about differentiating from the other site. If you are thinking about a wiki, I'm the wiki developer for our site. I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I can set up/admin a site, the database, semantic extensions, content, templates, queries, etc.

Winnie I moved your for-sale post to the Flea Market section. Your second post (above) was blank.

A tarp would work well to block the sun but I agree with butterfly Lee the rpod needs to have ventilation. If you could use lines and stakes to pull the corners of the tarp out, that would shade the rpod but still allow the air to move around the sides of the trailer. That might work if you have the space. Winnie, it's my understanding that you are better off not putting anything on your rpod then putting on one of those silver tarps. I know someone with more information will chime in (hopefully), the tarps may cause mold and other types of problems because the fabric doesn't breathe. (Kinda what you said)
I'm the reverse, I try and camp about once a month during warm weather and only store Podterfly in the winter months. I have the Forest River cover, but the ones from Northern Tool look good too.
The forum is a GREAT source of info.
From one single woman to another (there's quite a few of us out there).
Enjoy Podding
