You could buy an inverter and run a fan from it if you don't have hookups.  One battery might get you through two nights, two batteries definitely would.

Very easy to hook up - especially if you have a "cigarette lighter" type 12 volt receptical.  This particular one that I bought also has a 5 volt USB plug.

Have 2 of the cigarette lighter in the Edge, but nothing like that in the Pod, where I need it to hook up a fan.
The husband just ordered a battery operated indoor/outdoor fan with adapter. Uses D cell batteries. For the short time I wish to use the fan in the evening, this will do.

Now to find a campground ANYWHERE. WOW , there are a lot of us, campers that is.
I looked in Elkmont here in the Park and there is nothing I would have until September!Star

I just smacked myself - no need for an inverter since you can buy 12 volt fans to run directly from your 'pod's battery... I should have had a V8.

The Endless Breeze is the very best 12v RV fan.  Its frugal with battery usage and I have no doubt that you'd be very happy with it.

It is a bit pricey - actually, its probably $20-$30 more than what you'd think when I say 'a bit pricey.'  But, its well worth the money in the long run.

BTW, don't most (all) R-PODs with a TV & antenna have a 12v outlet with the antenna booster?

My 2011 R-Pod 177 doesn't.  I don't have a 12v outlet anywhere.

My 2010 RP 171 has a duplex outlet that the little TV/DVD/radio is plugged into. The other outlet is covered with a sticker that says TV Only. Checking the voltage indicates it is 12V. There are other 12v appliances also. The box under the dinette in the 171 with the electrical distribution system can be tapped to provide extra 12v 'cigar lighter' style outlets. My previous owner had one placed by the bed /shower corner to support a 12v 15" TV and/or his car phone/MP3 charger.

Second thought, at the W big store we found a 6" 120V fan with a clamp mount that works well to move air in the sleeping compartment. Cost was $10.
