You should find an answer regarding water shooting out the city hook up connection.  It's been a common problem with a lot of owners.  You can use a cap to close it up when using the fresh water tanks, or replace the part completely with a new one.  It seems the ones that are used in the pods are made of plastic and don't last very long.  Brass seems to be the better choice.

Yes, get it replaced with a brass valve (or you can do it yourself).  Unfortunately a common problem, as yizit said.

We can't get DSL or cable where we live, so our 3G connection through AT&T is our only data feed.  And yes, I'm guilty of sitting around the campfire with my laptop, surfing around the net.

I don't like to think of using anything while out camping. Just does not fit in.
Until I learn some of the ropes something like that might be nice , or a manual with all these ideas gathered. BUT anyone having to compil them would not be out having fun then their r.pod

Welcome mountain mist! I too am just a pedowan to the rpod world working on becoming a jedi... still in the newbie stage myself, this site is the best on the web for anything.. the group on here are great! and between them all, I think they know everything about RV's... from plumbing, to propane, to electronic connections right on up to and including how to put a worm on your hook...
they kept me on the straight an narrow from the first day I joined the site... I'm sure you will find the same and also bring a wealth of knowledge to the group as well....

Enjoy..

Now back to my water heater issues... it seams like I have the bypass valve set in the wrong position... doh...
