Just came from the RV show in Baltimore. The tables in the newer pods are SO much lighter than what we got. Has anyone contacted a dealer about purchasing just the table?

Almost went to that show this weekend, glad to hear that there were some 'pods there. What models do they have? Did you notice any other improvements/changes? |

Pods they had were: 172T, 172, 171, 177 (if memory serves...it was a busy day there!). It was neat to see the hybrid model and the slide out. Other than that, we didn't notice many differences. Hubby says seeing the newer models makes him glad we got ours before they added more stickers to the outside. All in all, it made us fall in love all over again with the pod that is in our driveway. Just wish it wasn't surrounded by snow.
Other great things at the show- talking to the campground reps. Since we weren't RV owners yet when we went last year we sort of skimmed the campgrounds. There was also a vendor selling RV Mats. We'd been lugging around an old woven area rug...very heavy. |

Our table is the older, heavier model. We are going to start using Lifetime Personal Table most of the time. http://www.amazon.com/Lifetime-Personal-Molded-Almond-finish/dp/B0006D50RE
It is sturdy, a bit smaller, easy to fold and move, has adjustable height and can be used indoors or out. Our pod is the 171 and we don't need the table to make a bed 99% of the time. When we do, we have our original waiting and will take it if needed. We also have another plan for this whole table/bed thing and will post more when the mods are done, including pics. |

The link above didn't work for the table so I did a search and found it. Then fixed it for you.
The table that Sylviablue bought from Amazon came from a very interesting organization. Take a moment and read about this place that has helped troubled children since 1887. http://www.mercyhome.org/ Terry |

Here's another option for the same table I can't find my original post, but did find it in the list your mod post (page 2) Been using it since June 2009 and love it. Been thinking of getting http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/4-fold-in-half-table/27644 this one for outside under the r-dome. Lee

Thanks for fixing the link. I believe this table is also sold at Target stores. It's sturdy and should last a long time. Good size, etc.
