Give some thought to carrying the bikes between the truck and the camper.
http://www.swagman.net/product/traveler-xcs2/ Easier on the bikes and the camper and they're already on the truck when you arrive at the CG. For everyday non camping use just leave the draw bar and carrier on the truck. The platform/basket style carrier makes it much easier to load and unload. |

I doubt that it voids the bike carrier warranty. You should research that more. I don't believe restrictions like that are even legal (kinda like people used to believe if your car dealer didn't change your oil it would void your warranty). Besides, if you had a problem, how could they tell it had been in an adapter?
