If you want my opinion...I would personally like this forum to go in another direction. There is too much overlap. People are busy. They barely have time to keep up with one forum let alone a forum that appears to be a mirror image of the other one.
Also, it is getting towards winter and since people are camping less (or have their Pod in storage), they are posting less. The other forum seems down as well.
Things I would like to see more of...MODS...OMG, I am addicted to mods. I have gone out and found other mod rv sites and I have been looking at those. I would think threads on Mods would help draw people...it would draw me.
Also...I would like to figure out some of the more technical stuff like figuring out how to get internet in the RPod...what plans are out there and current pricing.
Oh...I love the cooking stuff but then, I will read a cookbook like a book...so, that might be just me.
I think there is plenty of room for both forums...But, like I said, people are busy...I am finding it hard to find the time to go to all my usual internet places...of course, there are many more places then there used to be.

I tried to get the organizer of the Eastern roundup to post updates (unsuccessfully). We could try for the other roundups, can't hurt.
Adding a write-up on my purchase experience is on my to-do list.

Hi Guys,
Here are some thoughts on getting this forum hopping.
I noticed that "traffic" on a couple of trailer/camping sites I look at regularly really slowed down with the end of the camping season. I think things will naturally pickup in the spring so hang in there :).
The things I like to look at on RV websites are stories/photos of peoples travels, modifications, and trailers and parts for trailers for sale.
We have just signed up for the R-pod round up in Kentucky next June. I wonder if the organizers of that event would consider posting their event on here as well? Perhaps one of the moderators could contact one of the organizers?
I posted my purchase experience on here and sent a link to my salesman - he was delighted at the write up. Perhaps the moderators on here could do the same?
Keep up the great work,
Phil

Good idea. Could be posted under Camping Adventures, sticky so it stays up top. Keep chatter down like on the podmods thread if you want it to be more of a reference than a discussion. Your call.

How about a forum topic of campgrounds that ppl have visited with pictures and links. Listing the state first, city and then campground name. That way if someone is traveling in that state it would be a quick reference. Such as: WI, Wisconsin Dells, Fox Hills Campground.

I have been looking around at what other sites offer and what this site could offer. Maybe more how to or how it work type of things. Like proper ways to care for the black tank (just off the top of my head) or other things. other sites are weak on cooking but if you don't do a lot of that then no pull.

Yes, it is where I wanted it. I think that if this place is going to make it we need something to draw people to it. Right now there just isn't that much that is not on the other forum. Something like the interview, once the Lousiville RV Show is over, will help. But, what else?

Did you mean to post this in the mod forum?

I see things are improving on here but we need to get more topics that are NOT on the other forum if we are to attract them over here.
Any ideas?
