There should be a drain cock on or near the bottom of the fresh water tank. Just open it and get out of the way. If you're really ambitious you can also open the hot and cold low point drains and open the hot and cold water faucets inside the camper. This will drain all the pipes and also the 6 gallons stored in the water heater. Not really necessary if you're not ready for freezing WX yet. Your black tank should have a black tank flush connection to clean the black tank. Emptying the FW into the toilet will work, but it requires the pump to run and takes a long time.


Agreed on the water heater,  I don't usually drain it either.
Also if you are draining your freshwater tank at the drain cock on dirt.  Put a board, stabilizer pad, flat rock or some thing under the drain cock. The water pressure/volume can really drill a hole in some soils.
