I actually do mean the shower curtain rod; see picture, below. We actually like our vinyl closet, by the way. When we're driving, it hangs in the bathroom, but then we pull it out and hang it on the hooks on the back of the bathroom door. We use it for clothes and towels and stuff.

Margo, I'm glad your "closet" works for you -- and I could see it would be okay for soft goods. I'm sure that's what Forest River actually had in mind.
P.S. I actually thought your idea for hanging the toilet paper on the rod was quite unique and resourceful!

Ah, my 'pod doesn't have that. The shower curtain is carried on a very small I-beam, I think made of aluminum.

Believe it or not, that rod is not for the shower curtain. It's for the hanging closet storage organizer. The shower curtain is hung just as you describe.

I have mine laying in the bottom left mesh netting that came attached to the inside of the shower.
P.s. I have my Dissertation stuffed in there behind the Penthouse magazine as well. Good reading material while on the can.

I'm working on my dissertation, too. For my Ed.D. not Ph.D. But I guarantee you won't find it anywhere in the loo!
