Oh yes, but being on a run is even more fun. Less chance of spilling my beer.
But for excitement! it's sailing close hauled with a catamaran up on one haul.

Glad you are getting the advice you need. I am sure there is a solution to your "uncanny cant", uncomfortable.
I sold my pod over a year ago and really miss it but knew it was time due to my age. But going places where I can take my dogs and rent a travel trailer while there. You have great and wonderful times ahead Enjoy!

Is the tilt while it is still hooked up to the TV?  If yes, the hitch needs to be adjusted (they almost always do) because the tongue should be level or slightly down.

If it is disconnected, you adjust the height front-back using the tongue jack.  Only use the stabilizers to make contact with the ground and then turn them a little more to firm them up - never try to level the pod with it.  To level side to side use wood or Lynx levelers under the low tire before you unhook.

Hi again techntrek,

Thank you so much for all of your advice. No, the R-Pod is not hooked up to the TV. We must be setting the tongue jack too high. We will try again with the tongue jack lower down and see if that makes any difference.

Also, we heard that there are sometimes R-Pod group camping for just R-Pod owners. Is this actually a thing?

Much appreciated,

K and M

Yes, there are pod-specific and FR-specific get-togethers.  Check out the Events and Campouts section for some.

Pulling with '99 Ford 150 Triton V8 4x4 Off Road. Did well with my first 800 mile round trip.

We started out with a 2013 Edge 3.5 V-6, rated at 3,700 towing capacity. It cut the mileage more than half at about 10 miles per gallon.  Got worried about burning the Edge up, so traded it in for a 2013 F-150 Lariat with Eco-Boost.  365 Horse.  Gets around 13 mpg [pulling the pod] and pulls the Pod like its not even back there.

Just could be green with envy that all of you are Podding but I have to look at it I had my time while I could. I still love camping. I am taking my dogs to Four Paws Kingdom in NC and have rented a trailer that is there. Dogs get to bring their people and permission has to be granted for human kids! I hope to do this often if this turns out to be a workable plan. I do LOVE camping, in any form. Now sleep on my screened porch since it is really like camping out in the fresh air.
