Topic: Winter Camp French Creek, PA Posted: 16 Jan 2012 at 1:38pm |
I have the stash of pictures, but I need to sort through them! I took about a hundred between our trip out to the old steel furnace, the winery, and hanging out in our tent city.

I spent last night sorting through my shuttle launch pics so my daughter could show them in class, hopefully tonight I can sort through the camping pics.

The first evening in our tent city, snuggling up in our winter wear close to the propane fire and radiant heater.

More pics from our Saturday afternoon excursion, to a local winery <extend pinky finger here>. The winery was way too dang expensive but we enjoyed the tasting session and were suckered into taking several bottles home with us.

Finally, three peas in a pod. I mean, three Pods in a row. It got down to 10 F Sunday morning, but we were all toasty in our Pods. We all enjoyed time around a real fire Saturday night before it got too cold (when we retreated to the tent city and relative warmth), enjoying some of the fermented grape juice and sharing a pot luck dinner. I had a great time and look forward to the next get-together.

Yes was a great time! Was not too bad (now that my fingers are unfrozen again) So do we have another place to look into?
