Can anyone comment on getting the TV on a table under R-Dome? I assume the 120 AC is no problem.  Should I just pick up a 20' TV coax cable for a) TV to RV site cable connection or b) TV to Rpod internal coax antenna outlet and run it out the door? Has anyone done any Mods for this?

I would run a line right from the campground's cable connection.

We wouldn't watch TV..lol

But if we were going to.. I agree with techntrek, just run/carry 30' or so of RG6 and throw it under the camper from the hook up side.

A guy "could" add a splitter wherever the line comes in on the supply side, run some RG across the camper, say under the bed, or whathave you, and add a cable connection on the curb side. Not a giant deal to do I would think.

I was under the bed where my water heater is at today.. and it would take about 5 minutes to add a splitter, route RG6 around thru the under bed storage and hook up to an all weather outlet to have a cable outlet in the dome.

Just mount and connect one of these:

No affiliation, just tthe first google hit..

EDIT: as a side note, anyone know what the heck I did with my Anode rod? lol Left it out for the winter, took it yesterday, cleaned up the threads with a wire wheel, put fresh teflon tape on.. got a phone call.. set it down.... somewhere..Angry

Well.. it can stay wherever it is. $14 later, got a new one. Old one was half ate up already anyways..

Dealer told me "people always can't find them, then find them on the little shelf area of the heater".. I said yes.. that is where I left it for the winter.. but not where I left it yesterday..lol.

BillGa I did what Furpod explained. I added a conection just behind the fender on our 171. I ran the cable from a splitter then under the bed. It works but by what I have read you may lose a little of the antenna strength. Its nice to have the option even though we have used the TV very little outside.
