I just noticed that we are getting close to 100,000 posts, as of right now 99,819.

I also just noticed that I've produced 9% of them at 9023.  If I had been more active this year it 
would probably be closer to 10%, lol.

With so much activity on the forum (at any given moment 50-60 people online) I'm glad that 
everyone still finds this forum useful in the Facebook age.

Yes.. I am glad myself to see it still active. FB killed a lot of forums for sure.

I use both. The FB group is much more active than the forum. The main problem with the FB group is that it's very linear, so the same questions get asked over and over.

I agree with the anti-FB members.  I'm not sure it matters anymore since everyone shares data with each other and any computer related company, like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Equifax, and a million others know more about us than our mommas ever did.  But Facebook really seems to exist to destroy personal privacy.

This forum has it's minor imperfections, sure, but it's a great place for the purpose.

To Doug, or shall I say Mr. Techntrek. We know you would have a lot more people posting if you would update your picture.  All of your older pics, starting with the stone wheel, were fantastic.  So don't keep us in suspense any longer, we want an updated picture of you, and not standing next to that stone wheel !

I'm guilty of the FB side for the last 1-1/2 to 2 years. Trying to go on a FB diet now as I am tired of the intrusiveness and negativity it also brings. Not the Rpod group but the rest of it.
