Thanks to sylviablue, piepod, techntrek and all.  I think it's a given that most of us like the Pod - we liked it enough to shell out 5 digits. However, if we can only post subjects extolling the wonderfulness of the Pod, we're going to run out of things to say - sooner or later, depending on the level of our infatuation.  The Pod is a nice little camper, but has it's pluses and minuses like all the others. 
 
Personally, I feel a certain kinship with anyone who likes to camp and enjoys the outdoors.  From pup tents to megabuck motorhomes, it really doesn't matter to me what they sleep in at night.  Everyone has different wants/needs and this usually changes over time.  I like my Pod, but other units are interesting, too.  For me, most every camping trip is a roundup - I get to meet interesting people, with common interest, relax and talk about stuff.

It's just you right.   Without assuming to much it's a perfect for a single Male.  

If you go get it, you should try and make it to the round up I should everyone would love to see it (there's a T@B going too).

Thanks,  and this is a great forum.  I've found it both informative and friendly.  I'd like to continue posting on occasion even if I ultimately decided on another camper.  Big smile

I've decided on the Sierra Campfire.  Same as Scotty, but substantially less $$$.  My 09 unit with virtually every option will be just less than $10K...  Link to video is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CQhPoW9Hmo&NR=1 It's what works for me.  I love the R-Pod, but need to go with my gut...

FYI, the link is for the Scotty and not the Canadian unit priced at $27K.   Actually, the clone of the Scotty is less than $10K reasonably equipped.  I have a hold on one  and am pleased with my decision...
