Jensen radio c/d player

   Newbie questionMy new 179 has this Jensen radio, etc.  when I power off, the information screen still glows blue. It's one heck of a nightlight lol. Is there any way to completely turn the unit off, so I don't have to bask in the blue all night, short of pulling the fuse or putting a piece of tape over the display every night?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

	We didn't have that one, but my understanding is, if you look close, there is supposed to be a +/- button(s) somewhere....

	Copy that. I'll look. Thanks I probably should look at the little manual that came with it. Why would I do that? It would take the challenge out if it..lol

	Our new camper has a Jensen.. but it's on the back side of the entertainment center and fireplace.. so it doesn't shine in the "bedroom"..

	Real easy... Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) The liquid crystal display (LCD) panel (1) displays the frequency, time and activated functions. To adjust the brightness of the LCD, press the BRIGHT +/- buttons (2) to adjust the LCD brightness from “LEVEL OFF” to “LEVEL 9” (brightest). I googled it lying in bed the first night we got the pod. 	We keep ours set on level 1 in our 179. As Mike said, it is a good nightlight. We do use a tension shower rod (old, spring-loaded type, not the newer twist-lock type) to hang a set of curtains between the bed and cabin. That blocks a lot of the excess light also.

	OK.. new camper has a Jensen unit. On ours, it doesn't have the +/- buttons. Ours is the JWM6A model. On it, you push the "audio menu" button to cycle through choices, one of which is "backlight".. settings are 0 to 4. we are on 1.
