Glad to hear that you've at least resolved part of the problem.

We are purchasing a used Nissan Frontier which has the tow package. Then we will be able to go and get the R-Pod. It has a 6000+# tow rating. I have the brake controller adapter cable on order for overnight delivery. Hopefully, we can get the R-POD here before the weekend.

If it would be possible I have known with animal rescue groups volunteer's will take turns driving a distance and will shuttle a animal to it's destination. Perhaps with podders helping podders this could be done shuttling your camper back home. My wife often tells me I don't make any sense how about now does this make sense?

I did look at a U-Haul truck that had a hitch, but the problem is that they don't come with the brake controller. That would be a big problem.

Have you considered just renting a u haul pick up truck  to get your trailer to SLC?  This might give you more time to find the tow vehicle you are looking for.

I've looked at some pickup trucks today. A diesel Ford F250, but it has some significant oil leakage problems. That was from a private seller. At Carmax in South Jordan, we looked at a Nissan Frontier with a king cab. It has a 6500 lb tow limit.  I also looked at a Chevy Avalanche, but it was older. As much as I would like a diesel vehicle, the Nissan seems like a better choice at this time. We still need to find out what will happen with our Escape. I hope to hear something more definite tomorrow. I'm trying to keep this to under $20,000.

In Green River, you might also check out Adams RV. They might be able to repair it without you having to transport it to SLC.

I want to get our R-Pod to where we are. There are things in it that we need to get, which we can't do if it is up in Green River. I appreciate the Motor Sportsland information. I will contact them tomorrow morning to see what I can find out from them about our situation. I appreciate it.

Sorry to read of your travels and challenges. Like others have said, most important that everyone is ok. Things can be fixed / replaced. I live within a couple of miles of the Carmax where you are shopping. Glad to help if there is anything I might be able to assist you with. Best wishes for a successful outcome to your situation and Merry Christmas.
