Good Morning Ron and welcome to the forum. Congratulation on your 178. Sorry I can't comment on too much on pulling through the mountains, we live in NJ. We've driven into the Pocono Mountains and had no trouble towing our 179 with our Honda Pilot. Safe travels and Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi new to the r-pod form. We just bought a 2014 178 r-pod and are really exited about our first trip to Texas in February. We live in West St. Paul Minnesota I just retired this year and we want to see the US though the wind shelled of my truck. I stated looking for camper and found this one. We want to see if any one has pulled it through the mountains. I have a 2016 Chevy 1500 and when I brought is home it pulled like a dream. There aren't any mountains here.
