Topic: New podders! Posted: 27 Sep 2016 at 4:48pm |
Hey y'all! New here, first owned RV.
My wife and I just brought home a new to us 2012 R-pod 177. We went to a dealer about 40 miles from home a couple days ago to look at something else, saw the R-Pod and fell in love with it. Made tentative commitments to buy, stopped at Northern on the way home to get the stuff to add a brake controller to the truck, then picked up the trailer today. For an upcoming weekend away we are changing our hotel reservation to a camp space reservation!

SWEET ! Looks like our 2011 model 177. We have thoroughly enjoyed ours ever since we picked it up in March 2011. Have given countless tours of it over the past 5 + years to other campers who were curious or interested in what it looked like inside. Have put over 20 K miles on it with no complaints and no issues except for owner induced ones. May you have many great memories and safe travels as you pod along this great nation.

Mis-spoke when I said it looks like ours, as we do not have A/C, hence no A/C unit on the roof, so it does look a smidge different.

Thanks for the welcomes! The R-pod just seems well laid out inside and is a bit smaller than a conventional travel trailer despite feeling roomier, which is what sold us on it.
