I too spend a lot of time in national parks with no power or running water. For me, the best is use a 12v TV. I bought one about the size of a iPad Mini several years ago. I plug the pod's antenna in to the 12v TV and use it plugged into a 12v outlet I installed. I use two batteries, and a 50w solar panel connected directly to the batteries. When I have "dry" camped for several days, it is not unusual to return home with a full battery charge. Before I leave for a period of dry camping, I frequently download several movies to my iPad, and view them in places with little or no TV reception. Camp on!

Get a small inverter to plug into a 12V power supply to provide the 110V that the television needs. If you look in the mods section you will see where a number of people have installed a 12V outlet. If you look in my mods, you will see the one I installed. It isn't too hard to do.

Can anyone tell me the best and most quiet way to run the TV? I have a 2015 182 and want to run the TV in campgrounds that do not provide power. We are solar ready, but don't have the zamp package yet. I have two 12 volt batteries connected. We also have a generator, but it's super loud. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
