Y'all don't want to travel in California. Right now we are just under $3.00 ($2.89 where we are) for regular. We always get our gas at COSTCO but sometimes we aren't close to one and traveling to the nearest one defeats the purpose.

The gas pipeline leak is going to affect supply and prices on the east coast, especially in the southern states.  I saw some news reports showing some stations already out of gas.  Something to consider if you are towing in that area.

2.59 in TN (middle) today for regular all based on AL pipeline leak, many stations without gas.

Part of the problem is people "panic" buying. It only guarantees that stations will run out sooner than they would have otherwise. I read about someone at a gas station filling up a set of 10-gallon containers. If there are a lot of people doing the same, it really exacerbates the situation.

Current regular prices here are a low of $2.09 and a high of $2.39 according to Gas Buddy.
