Following up with some of the discussions. I'm wanting to buy the Coleman LXE gril. Only problem is that it's set up as a high pressure grill. It has it's own pressure regulator attached. Now on our Rpod we have a low pressure line already that comes from our main 20lb tank up front. Since I can't then connect to a 2nd regulator I'm wondernig if anyone has any ideas. Some forums have suggested just removing the regulator from the new grill but it seems then finding compatable connection pieces are an issue. And I don't particulary want to run a new line that proceeds the regulator at the front of the Pod either. I don't think most of you have that existing propane line in the back of your trailers like we do so this might not help much but any suggestions are appreciated!

I had high pressure and low pressure lines on my popup, the outside grill was a high-pressure line. The high-pressure regulators are red if I remember right and you'll need one for your grill - removing the regulator on the grill won't allow it to operate correctly, unless your pod already has a red regulator.

Yuh I'm must today starting to realize the difference with the high and low pressure lines, and what exactly they mean. The one that my Pod has to the back grill is a low pressure on. So even if I could attach the new coleman grill without it's regulator it wouldn't matter because it would still be a low pressure line I guess. How annoying! ![Ouch Ouch](smileys/smiley18.gif)

You'll have to add a high pressure regulator at the tank and run a separate line wherever you need it. Probably easier to just take a 2nd tank and put it where you need it in-camp. A 10 pound tank would be easier for this task, instead of another 20 pounder.

I have the weber Go anywhere LP version, I have a two LP tank setup, I bought a adaptor hose that screw on to my Lp tank and the other end to the BBQ, so I unhook one of my LP hoses form a tank, and install and screw on the bbq hose to it and I'm ready to go much better than using those small non refillable throw away tanks and less to take with me on a road trip, less than 1 minute,
and I ready to bbq

Can the Coleman roadtrip grill be hooked up directly to the propane connection on the R-Pod? So we wouldn't have to use the small, disposable propane tanks.
