Camping after winterizing

   We often have nights below freezing this time of year, so I went ahead and winterized the water systems thinking that I could still dry camp another time or two this fall. But now that the pink stuff is in, I can really smell it and am wondering if it is safe to use once it has been winterized. 
Specifically, since the pink stuff is alcohol based, it would seem very flammable. And the intake tube and other water lines are right next to the furnace (which I will definitely use for fall camping.) I'm also wondering if the odor alone would be too strong to bear. 

Anyone ever camped after winterizing? Used the furnace?

	Read the label. There are two kinds of RV Antifreeze: Ethanol (alcohol) based (flammable) and Propylene Glycol based (non-flammable). I use the PG product. I've got a couple of gallons of Prestone in the garage. fred

	5 seasons of post winterization pod use... never even smelled it, let alone had an issue.

	The one I used lists both ingredients. Says ethyl alcohol (64-17-5), propylene glycol (57-55-6) Brand is 20/10 Furpod, have you used the furnace?

	Ditto on the smell and using it over the winter - never a problem for me. fwunder - I think you need to apply for a hazardous materials placard for that!
