Got our 2016 178 today but haven't taken it out yet.  Left it at the dealer's storage and winterized (winter comes early in MT) but will be moving it to So. Utah later this fall. Never towed anything before.  Just bought the TV yesterday and still trying to figure the type of hitch to get. Dealer said we should add weight distribution with the hitch for the Sequoia.  Any thoughts on that?  Thanks in advance and can't wait to start using our "Podissima"!

Welcome from San Antonio and congratulations on the new 178!

WDH requirements fall into three categories:
1) A TV and camper combination that require one.
2) A TV and camper combination that does not require one.
3) A TV and camper combination that does not require one, but the owner wants one anyway.

You will have to decide if you are a 2 or a 3. Most owners like them because it improves the relationship of the TV / camper combination. It makes it more stable, helps prevent sway, improves the ride, and prepares the owner better for towing in less than ideal towing situations.

Good luck Sir!

Thanks for the welcom and info, everybody.  Methinks I'll take door #3 and slap on a WDH.
