My partner and I have recently purchased a used 2010 R171.  We took it on a test camping trip and loved it, though it took a little while getting used to moving around in a squishy space (two people, two dogs).  It's the first travel trailer or RV that either of us have owned so everything is new to us.  The only thing that was a disappointment was the fuel economy we got while towing - we are towing with a 1996 Buick Roadmaster station wagon, which gets 22-24 highway regular, and with the r-Pod we got about 8.  I've looked at some of the threads on here with various ideas of how to boost mileage and look forward to trying them, especially ways of reducing the wind resistance as we suspect that's the major problem (short car, tall trailer).  Anyway, I joined this forum so that we'd have a place to turn to as questions or issues arise.  Expect to hear from me more in the near future.
New to the r-Pod. New to RVs in general. Hoping to learn!

Welcome.  That mpg is on the low side but close to the usual 10-12.  I usually got 9.5.
