That will be a good test towing with the Escape on the hills around Carrolton. You'll probably want to go with your F150. I saw you other picture on another post.

Thanks Doug, I have indeed been poring over the info in the list. Great idea, looking forward to helping fill that out!

Hello from northern Connecticut! My wife and I just took possession of a 2015 178 which we purchased after a single look back on Labor Day. We had always joked as the kids were growing up that once they were out of the house we'd buy a small trailer and travel to music festivals across the country. Last summer one of us trotted that out again and we realized, "Hey, they ARE gone, we could really do this!" The pod has been sitting in the driveway for a couple of weeks while we get acquainted, this weekend was supposed to be the dry run at a campground on the shore, alas the Frau went on the DL with a rotator cuff injury,so I'm taking the time to read up on the pod from as many sources as possible. Glad to see that this forum exists, the Forest River manual is little more than a list of things not to do so we won't sue them. Looking forward to learning from and contributing to this forum.

Yes, for some reason waiting on a pod delivery is like waiting for Santa to arrive.
